Our history is one of solidarity.
Throughout his time in the Kyaka II Refugee Settlement camp in Uganda, Matabishi Bumba sees that poverty is everywhere in the refugee camp. It affects adults, but unfortunately also children, who often work to help their families with no other prospect for the future.
Vice President, Judith Kavundja Esther believes in education as a passport to a better future for refugee children and young people.
This is how she agreed to found the Muke Company in 2020 with Matabishi Bumba and 5 friends. Their objective is to act for the well-being of children and young refugees in the Kyaka II Refugee Settlement camp.
“It is better to learn to fish than to give away a fish. »
This principle will be implemented in all programs of the Muke Society. Similarly, an income-generating activity will complete most constructions.
A hope for the future
