World Peace Games for children and young refugees organized by the Muke Society at Kyaka II Refugee Settlement

The idea for the project came from the young refugees of the Kyaka II Refugee Settlement Camp and the children of the Muke Society.

The project environment: 

In what structure does the project take place?

The project is taking place in the Sweswe, Dam I and Dam II Zone.

What is the purpose of this activity?

Express yourself, act, forge links and exchange

                              

Who works or intervenes there?

Children and young refugees from all areas of the camp and Ugandan children and young people and other volunteers accompanying the project

What is the territory of radiation?

The Sweswe Zone and its surroundings  .

Muke Society Center | Uganda, Kyaka, Kyaka II, Sweswe, Dam I 

Who is the target audience?

We are targeting 75%   of children and young refugees, each team   will have to be accompanied by at least three responsible adults

  What are the needs and expectations of this audience?

 

Refugee children and young people need to exercise while being safe and having fun. 

Their leaders need to evaluate themselves, to see their teams compete against other teams. 

Ultimately, we all need to teach our children and young refugees the notion of living together.

1. We do not have funding to carry out this project perfectly, but we rely on our own means from contributions.

The primary school ''SWESWE PRIMARY SCHOOL'' has agreed to lend us chairs   as well as two classrooms throughout the course of the project.

During our event, a refreshment bar will be set up.

The games will start on February 16, 2023 and will be closed after a few days at Kyaka II Refugee Settlement in Uganda, on February 19, 2023, in Sweswe Zone by the finals of football, basketball, Karate and Volleyball matches, drawing competitions, and question-and-answer games.
